What's the right Bambo Nature diaper size for my baby?

The main determinant of the diaper size is your baby's weight.

You can find our size guide in the product description above.

For most brands, diaper sizes are on a scale from 1 to 7. Some manufacturers choose a scale from 0 to 6. There's no real difference, other than the starting size.

You'll also notice that for all diapers on our store, once you select a size, the weight range it's meant for will appear.

How long does a pack of Bambo Nature diapers last?

The larger the pack, the longer it will last.

However, there exist other factors that'll impact just how long you can hope to use a pack for before having to stock up again.

Newborns tend to use the most diapers on a daily basis, potentially up to 10 a day! As your baby grows, this number will lessen.

Keep in mind that with Bambo Nature diapers, smaller sizes are available only in smaller packaging.

How many diapers does a baby use per day?

It's difficult to give a precise answer, because it depends on a number of factors.

However, one of the main determinants will be the age of your baby.

In the first couple of days after birth, the total number of wet diapers will grow on a daily basis. In day 7, your baby might urinate up to 6 times a day, and poo around two to three times.

As your baby grows, this number will gradually decrease.

Diaper sizing is created such that it'll correspond to a particular age. You can therefore calculate the number of diapers needed on a daily basis based on the diaper size:

  • Size 1: Most babies will wear this size until 4 months old. On a daily basis, you can assume anywhere between 8 to 10 diapers. With this in mind, if you're buying a pack of 54 diapers, we'd recommend you stock up on 8 to 10 packs.

  • Size 2: Most often used by babies that are from 3 to 8 months old. You can expect around 8 to 9 wet diapers a day.

  • Size 3: This size tends to cover the largest range of ages, from 5 to 24 months old. At this age range, babies tend to use 6-7 diapers a day.

  • Size 4: This size is used by babies aged between 18 and 36 months. You can expect anywhere from 4 to 7 diapers a day.

  • Size 5: Appropriate for 2 to 3 year olds. Most babies start potty training at this age, so buy it only on a as needed basis.

  • Size 6: For large babies, or for children older than 3 years. Use on an as needed basis.
